Size- 1 module to 16 module Spur gears are the most common type of gear. The teeth on spur gears are 90°C to the side or face of the gear. This requires that spur gears run parallel to one another. Spur gears can be arranged in long trains to meet required ratio reductions as well as maintained required size constrictions. Applications- Used in construction equipment, Machine tools, Indexing equipment etc.
